Financial Analyst

Work Location: The position is located at the Pentagon, currently remote due to COVID-19

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support one of our Federal Clients in providing financial and accounting support/analysis

Responsibilities:

  • Apply analysis and evaluation techniques to manual and automated processes within a limited area of capability.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee complex general accounting systems, procedures, and policies.
  • Assess the effectiveness of accounting systems and ensure the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of accounting data.
  • Prepare accounting reports and make recommendations for improvements in policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for completion and maintenance of general ledgers and financial reports.
  • Possess the ability to make complex changes to pre-existing presentations and spreadsheets while maintaining the current theme.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience.
  • Experience in accounting/financial management with a demonstrated ability in areas such as cost and financial accounting techniques, accounting operations, business management and possess knowledge of financial and accounting policies.
  • Experience with STARS or SABRS.
  • Expert experience in office products such as MS PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
  • MUST BE A US CITIZEN.
  • Must Possess DoD Secret Clearance.

Financial and Internal Controls Analyst

Work Location: The position is located in Washington, D.C, currently remote due to COVID-19

Centennial Technologies Inc. is looking for a Financial and Internal Controls Analyst to support various programs at federal agencies. The individual must have expertise in OMB A-123 Appendix A and C assessments, risk assessments, and CAPS development. The individual will evaluate the design and the effectiveness of processes and internal controls based on the FMFIA, IPERIA, and IPIA requirements. This role will frequently interact with key stakeholders across the supported federal agency Responsibilities:
  • Perform work under the direction of the Financial Control Manager to support OMB A-123 (Appendix A and C) assessments.
  • Document the financial and operational processes including internal controls.
  • Perform internal controls testing of the financial and operational processes and conduct walk-throughs with the process owners.
  • Maintain a current log of any observations and deficiencies noted throughout the annual testing including their current remediation status.
  • Assess internal controls and design effectiveness and follow up on the disposition of exceptions.
  • Perform program-level and enterprise-level qualitative and quantitative risk assessments.
  • Support development of CAPS.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the agency’s staff and management as well as external auditors through periodic and effective communication to facilitate the proactive assessment of the agency’s risk profile.

Qualifications:

  • Must have three (3) to five (5) years of experience supporting federal agencies in the areas of financial and internal controls.
  • Must have completed at least one project related to OMB A-123 Appendix C requirements support.
  • Must be effective at communicating issues through written reports, verbal discussions, and presentations.
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or another relevant field is required.
  • Must be US Citizen or a Permanent Resident and able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Director of Business Development

Work Location: The position is located in Leesburg, VA with frequent travel to customer sites (DC Metro) required as needed

Centennial Technologies Inc. (CT) is looking for a Director of Business Development to support our Federal government business. In this role, you will identify, qualify, pursue, and support capture of new business opportunities across the Federal Civilian market. The position requires performing both business development and capture management.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and own a pipeline containing opportunities throughout the Federal Civilian market that aligns to CT’s core capabilities.
  • Lead pursuits and provide critical leadership from early opportunity identification and qualification through the post-submission phases of an opportunity.
  • Identify potential opportunities, arrange meetings, initiate marketing strategies, and build relationships with key potential customers and industry partners.
  • Develop and implement capture plans, strategies, and budgets with a firm comprehension of the customer’s requirements, hot buttons, and issues.
  • Understand the strengths/weaknesses of our competitors and develop and implement winning strategies that highlight strengths and mitigate weaknesses.
  • Prepare and present opportunities, capture, and solution strategy briefings to the leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ proven experience leading and winning contracts in the Federal Civilian space with knowledge of respective acquisition and procurement policies and regulations
  • Extensive network of industry and government contacts and well versed with industry practices, trends and leaders.
  • Experience supporting the Proposal Manager throughout the proposal development lifecycle as the focal point for the capture of the opportunity.
  • Ability to participate in the color team reviews to provide critical feedback to the proposal management team.
  • Ability to develop and implement creative strategies into winning bid.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communications, organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be US Citizen or a Permanent Resident.

Capture and Proposal Manager

Work Location: The position is located in Leesburg, VA

Capture/Proposal Manager will be responsible for strategizing, designing, and delivering compelling and compliant proposals for new and existing client base. Must be able to support growth and capacity building initiatives across the corporation. Responsibilities:
  • Develop capture plans, formulate a winning capture strategy, and obtain the resources necessary to prosecute the capture plan.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities and grow the pipeline both independently and in collaboration with Business Development and Business Units.
  • Lead development and implementation of large deal capture plans (win strategy, timeline, and backlog), ensuring it is maintained, up to date, and properly reported.
  • Perform gap analysis of capabilities against customer requirements and identifies salient past performance references.
  • Form and lead cross-functional opportunity pursuit teams of business developers, solution architects, analysts, business unit representatives, and proposal managers managing level of effort and direction.
  • Engage support from corporate resources to support Opportunity Capture, including Graphics, Marketing, Contracts, Recruiting, and Pricing.
  • Perform market analysis, identify opportunities, develop and execute capture plans, and monitor competitor activity for each capture.
  • Leads development of internal teaming and capabilities gap analysis, competitive assessments, discriminators and key win themes and overall win strategy.
  • Develop proposal schedule and ensure adherence to all deadlines.
  • Coordinate the development of all proposal development materials including proposal outline, proposal management plan and writing plans.

Required Skill:

  • 4+ years of capture management in federal government contracting.
  • Deep relationship in the Federal government and the contracting community, preferably with HHS.
  • Strong written communication.
  • Organizational process improvement and process design.
  • Highly proficient with the MS Office suite.
  • Metrics and performance management.

Business Process Analyst

Work Location: The position is located in Washington, D.C, currently remote due to COVID-19

Responsibilities:

  • Assist management in implementing process improvements, developing implementation plans, preparing training materials for process changes, monitoring the implementation, and recommending any needed refinements.
  • Document as-is business processes.
  • Facilitate process workshops that involve eliciting process requirements and liaising with users.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated.
  • Document requirements, and translate into proper system requirements specifications, when applicable, using high maturity methods, processes, and tools.
  • Test new functionality to ensure validation of system enhancements.
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities to increase employee adoption for business processes and the use of automation.
  • Create mock-ups/wireframes to illustrate the functional design of a technical solution.
  • Develop project schedules and timelines.
  • Develop stakeholder briefings to present to clients and senior-level managers.
  • Analyze, identify, and track system deficiencies through user acceptance testing and regression testing.
  • Create end-user documentation including user guides and/or step-by-step instructions.
  • Prepare training material and deliver end-user training.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Candidate must have 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in participating in business or financial management services and related projects, including managerial experience.
  • 3-5 years of business modeling experience utilizing Microsoft (MS) Visio.
  • The candidate will need to be familiar with the change control process.
  • Familiarity with OMB Circular A-123 and internal controls is preferred.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft application suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and strong skills in coordination, project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Support project’s change control process, presentations, and client meetings
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
  • Have expertise in various activities performed within the CFO organization has a very solid understanding of Federal Sector, Internal Controls, and General Acceptable Accounting Principles.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder and able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
